Dear Branch Secretary

The Executive Committee have decided to hold a Consultative Council meeting of the Association at

4pm Monday 10^th February 2025 in AHCPS Head Office, Flemings Hall,  12 Flemings Place, Dublin 4.

Please note this meeting will be an “in-person” meeting, some refreshments will be available after the meeting concludes.

The Consultative Council comprises of the Branch Chairperson and Branch Secretary of each branch (or their representatives) and the Executive Committee.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss impacts 1% Local Bargaining due from September 2025 as part of the current Public Sector Pay Deal and the new Programme for Government. The local bargaining provision allows us to consider settling issues of concern to members or to allocate our funding towards issues of collective concern. Recent developments also indicate the possibility of using this money as a 1% general pay increase. The new Programme for Government will affect AHCPS members in their day to day work as senior civil servants, as employees of the government and as AHCPS members The Consultative Council will give us the opportunity to consider these issues from an AHCPS perspective.
