PO Competition
We wish to advise members that the Public Appointments Service has today advertised an open Principal Officer competition for the Civil Service.

The candidate information booklet for this competition is not yet available but will be provided shortly.
The closing date for the competition is the 3rd October 2019.
TLAC Preparation Seminar
Following on from our recent series of PO interview preparation seminars for members, the Association will hold a seminar on 22nd October, aimed at preparing members for the TLAC selection process at Assistant Secretary level. An invitation to register for the event, which takes place at the Morrison Hotel, Dublin, will issue via branches shortly.
Retirement Financial Planning
We wish to advise members that the Retirement Financial Planning seminar taking place in AHCPS Head Office in Dublin on 18th September is now full. There is a waiting list in operation. We also plan to run more seminars given the high level of demand. However, there are spaces remaining on the seminar to be held in the Absolute Hotel, Limerick on 10th October. Any member wishing to book a place should email jfarrellyclarke@ahcps.ie.
