Upcoming AHCPS Online Seminar – Everything You Wanted to Know About the Single Pension Scheme But Were Afraid to Ask….
Dear Branch Secretary,
The Association is holding an online seminar specifically aimed at public sector employees who are members of the Single Pension Scheme introduced in 2013.
The seminar will take place online on 17th November starting at 2.15pm and will examine the following:
- What is the Single Scheme and how does it differ from previous pension schemes?
- Features of the Single Scheme
- What do I need to do as a member of the Single Scheme?
- Augmenting the benefits of the Scheme through purchase of benefit and AVCs
- Q&A
The speakers will be:
Fergal Carty, Pensions Unit, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform
Garrett Flynn, Markets Manager, Cornmarket
Please note that this seminar is open to all at the grades of AP & PO (or equivalent) – whether members of the Association or not. As such, we would be grateful if you could circulate this information to all APs and POs in your organisation.
